Join ACE for a class with Katie Lawson of Fungal Focus on soil fungi & plant health.

Fungi fulfill critically important functions in gardens and on farms. Participants will take a look at how fungi help form soil structure, cycle nutrients, protect plants,  and reduce water use.  We'll also learn some practical ways to increase fungal diversity in our soils.

Katie Lawson started working on small vegetable farms in 2011. Her focus shifted to fungi after attending a Radical Mycology workshop in 2016. Since then,  she completed two certificates from MYCOLOGOS and is currently a student at the Soil Food Web School. Katie's company, Fungal Focus, teaches mycology workshops and runs a mushroom grow kit service.
