hello darkness, my old friend: self-acceptance through conscious movement
Wednesday, November 16th | 6 PM | Our Lady of the Snows | $5 | Pre-Register
Get curious & discover. Find compassion and acceptance for the parts of yourself you hide.
You know that feeling of ICK! you have when saying or doing something you don't want to; you instantly regret it, but just can't stop? This workshop will use movement such as chair yoga and walking meditation to help us work through the judgment we have for ourselves.
1) LEARN HOW to identify self-attributes that feel icky with movement and attunement–whether you have 10 seconds or 20 minutes
2) MOVE WITH your self-anger, judgment, and desire to push away the icky bits
3) GET CURIOUS & find out why this happens frequently and in certain conditions
4) GIVE YOURSELF COMPASSION, like you would a friend or child who's having a rough time and really needs love and attention
