In Your Dreams by Laura Obermeyer
In Your Dreams is a new age ski film by Laura Obermeyer and friends, with locations spanning across North America and Europe, ranging from the streets of Minnesota to the Austrian back country. It is a gender expansive production, creating representation for women and other marginalized genders in the snow sports community, both in front of the lens and behind it.
ALTA | The Faction Collectiv
The Faction Collective team descends on Alta, Utah for a spring session to remember. From sailing through deep pow to slashing through springtime slush, follow in the flow as the team ride through every type of terrain in Alta’s renowned winter playground. Three women set out to ski in the Alaska range for their first time. Serving as their own guides they were excited to arrive on the glacier and were quickly humbled by the complex structure of the terrain. In a new setting, they reimagine what success looks like beyond the familiar expectations of adventure athletes. The mission? Thrive in new roles and progress as a team to test their limits as skiers and leaders. No trip is perfect but the most memorable ones evolve beyond sport.

Nexus is an action sports film documenting five distinct groups of skiers, their connection to the mountains and how skiing shapes their relationships.The mountains foster friendships through early morning ski tours and weightless turns in untouched snow.Through skiing, we defy the impossible, channeling the strength to fly down steep couloirs and stomp burly cliffs. When faced with adversity, we find our refuge in the mountains.
