aprés art: nail art

We’re so excited for a new addition to our Winter 2023 - Aprés Art! Our first event of this series is Nail Art with local Alta employee and community member Shannon Corey. Shannon began experimenting with nail art at age 12. It became a creative outlet and favorite hobby. She loves working with her hands as a lift mechanic and pianist and much prefers to have her nails decorated with color and ornamentation that suit her mood. Her hope is to give you some tools and instruction to make your own nail art creations.

**PLEASE COME WITH YOUR NAILS PAINTED!  

It can be any color, colors or even a clear coat. We will learn how to apply sticker decals, use striping brushes, and dotting tools to add that extra element of expression to your polish. 

Each participant will receive a kit to make their own designs at the event and can take them home to continue creating nail art.
