makers meet-up: create and work session
Thursday, October 5th | 6 PM | Our Lady of the Snows | Free | Sign-up
Are you a local maker that has been pushing off your bookkeeping or website? Or maybe you need a space to paint with other like-minded folks? Or need some feedback on your Instagram or website? Then, this next Maker’s Meet-up is for YOU! Our next meeting will be a social event where you can bring any of your art you want to work on or any other work that needs to be done for your business. This is also a great time to bring any art, business plans, social media, website, or anything you want feedback on.
What is the Makers Meetup?
Megan of Crooked Trails Silver and Taylor of The Trash Pile saw a need for a space and a community of local small business artists and makers to collaborate, share ideas, and discuss the trials and tribulations of being a small creative business in today’s world. We believe that with a community we can be stronger and be successful in our creative and business pursuits. This will also allow makers to learn new skills through bi-monthly classes on areas in our business we need to grow.
What to bring:
A snack to share with everyone
Something to work on, whether art, computer work, social media content etc.
Another maker friend that you think would be interested!
Please reach out to Megan Oliver at events@altararts.org if you have any questions!
