intro to acroyoga

intro to acroyoga

Tuesday, February 28th | 6 PM | Our Lady of the Snows | $5 | Pre-Register

The goal of this class is to try a new form of movement that encourages connection, trust and playfulness. In this class we will focus on the basic movements of acro yoga and create a flow as we move from one trick to the next.

Sara Sugerman was born and raised in Salt Lake and has had a hard time leaving the gorgeous mountains and deserts that surround us. She is currently going to Nursing school at the University of Utah, and will graduate next summer! Sara has been coaching gymnastics for the last 12 years, and got into the circus world about 9 years ago. Since then she’s done a little bit of everything including acro yoga, partner acrobatics, pole, trapeze, and silks. She has been teaching acro yoga for 5 years. Sara loves the connection, trust, and playfulness that working with a partner brings, as well as the strength and balance that acro yoga builds. She’s looking forward to bringing this fun activity to the Alta community!

ACE aims to create an inclusive and accessible environment for all our attendees. Please contact our Executive Director, Sara Gibbs, with questions regarding accessibility.
