alta community acupuncture
Wednesday, February 17th | 3-7 PM | Our Lady of the Snows | $20-$50 | Sign-up Required
Join Laura Berglund, L.Ac. for a gentle, restorative acupuncture treatment in a relaxed community setting.
Community acupuncture is a wonderful way to experience acupuncture for the first time or receive affordable, ongoing support for your health and wellbeing. Treatments are often helpful for stress, anxiety, pain, insomnia, fatigue, digestive concerns, and physical recovery. Come in after a hard day on the mountain to address everyday aches and tension, or simply to give yourself some time to slow down and recharge.
After a brief conversation about how you’re feeling and what you’d like to address, Laura will gently place very thin, sterile, single-use acupuncture needles, primarily in the arms, legs, head, and ears. Each treatment is individually tailored to your needs.
You’ll relax comfortably in a zero-gravity recliner while the needles are in place. Most people rest for 25–60 minutes, giving you time to slow down and relax. Wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing if possible.
Treatments are offered on a sliding scale of $20–$50—you decide what you can afford. Cash or Venmo accepted.
Please book your treatment time and complete your consent form ahead of time.
