Thursday, April 2nd | 3-7 PM | Our Lady of the Snows | $20-$40 | Sign-up Required

Attendees will get to experience a gentle and restorative, personalized acupuncture treatment. This is a great introduction to acupuncture treatment and an opportunity for anyone looking to address pain, stress, anxiety, depression, insomnia, fatigue, digestive issues, and support overall recovery ahead of the busy holiday season. Each person will be able to comfortably relax on yoga mats, with bolsters and blankets. Wear comfy clothing that allows for rolling your sleeves and pant legs up. Very thin, single-use, sterile needles will be gently placed primarily in the arms, legs, head and ears. Each treatment is specifically tailored to address your health concern. Needles do not need to be placed in the area of pain. Please book your treatment time, fill out your consent form ahead of time, and bring an extra blanket and pillow if possible. Treatments are offered on a sliding scale of $20-$40, you decide what you can afford (Venmo or cash).

Laura Berglund is a licensed acupuncturist specializing in gentle, trauma-informed care rooted in Chinese Medicine. With over 10 years in the field and 30,000+ treatments given to her community, she’s dedicated to helping people find balance, ease, and real healing. Laura has managed a non-profit community acupuncture clinic, started her own private practice, served on the boards of several acupuncture non-profits, and has done a good bit of legislative advocacy and acupuncture education in Utah. Outside the clinic, Lauris is a mountain-loving athlete and part-time ski instructor at the Alf Engen Ski School at Alta. She uses acupuncture for her own recovery and wellbeing. Laura is passionate about helping others in my community in similar ways, as well as supporting chronic pain, stress, and many other aspects of health.
