Crocheting is a skill that lets you create all sorts of items, from modern-looking ski hats to sexy beachwear, and all those other grandma’s favorites, too!

Join Fran Bremer, owner, and maker of Amano Knitwear, in creating your own slouchy beanie in a social distancing crochet extravaganza brought to you by ACE!  Fran will guide you through the 4 basic stitches of crocheting that will get you off to a running start.  From there, you’ll jump into making a simple hat that will be perfect for those cooler summer evenings in LCC.

Supplies:

1 crochet hook, 4,5mm to 5,5mm recommended

- 1 skein of yarn (medium or 4) in a light color

- 1 pair of scissors 

- 1 yarn needle, to weave in the ends

- tons of patience <3
