Join ACE and Lane Twitchell Studios for a class in paper-cutting which takes the familiar process of “snowflake” making to the next level. We will explore paper folding and cutting with an x-acto knife to create “The Greatest Snow on EARTH!”
Born in Murray, Utah and educated at the University of Utah this 26 year resident of New York City has gained some attention for his painting techniques which involve folded and cut paper. Examples of his original paper cuts are held in the permanent collection of The Museum of Modern Art in New York City.
Supplies Necessary:
X-acto knife, (or generic equivalent)
Sheets of thin paper, which could be as simple as 8.5x11 type paper
Pencil
Ruler
A cutting surface.
