extraordinary photos: a phone photography class
Tuesday, January 19th | 6 PM | Our Lady of the Snows | $10 | Sign-up Required
In this hands-on class, students will discover that a fancy camera isn’t required to make compelling photographs. Everyday scenes can be artful, and the focus is on using the phone already in your pocket. Students will learn to find the best natural conditions for shooting, understand core camera settings and how to use them, and apply composition techniques like cropping, framing, and working with good lighting to develop a personal eye for striking images. The class is ideal for travelers, nature lovers, content creators, small business owners, and complete beginners who are curious about photography but don’t want to dive into bulky gear, complicated apps, or a steep learning curve. By the end, students will leave with a clear understanding of how to capture high-quality, eye-catching photos that are ready to post or share with the people they love most. All you need is your cell phone that is fully charged with some free storage space.
