metal projects: keychains, pendants, & tags

Tuesday, February 24th | 6 PM | Our Lady of the Snows | $10 | Sign-up Required

In this class, students will learn how to stamp metal, as well as the tools required for this process. Along with different finishing techniques, including polishing, matte, and different types of patinas. Students will use hammers, metal stamps, sandpaper, butane torch, pliers, and jump rings to create their own customized keychain, dog tag, and/or pendant.

For 12 and up only.

Callie is a multi-media artist from Iowa, now living in Salt Lake City, working in community mental health. Her experience is primarily in silversmithing, welding, and printmaking. Creating, playing outside with her dog, and any activity involving a bike are Callie’s favorite ways to spend her time. As well as skiing of course!
