Join ACE and Morgan Parham for a Guided New Moon Prayanyama and Meditation. This special new moon lies in Gemini which brings some lighter, sweeter energy that will help us feel motivated to begin new projects. This is a perfect time to set intentions that will overflow in the following weeks with the help from the extra energy of this new moon. During this guided meditation we will focus on exploring our deepest heart where our truest wishes lie and bring them to light with our awareness. You will be guided through a few short pranayama practices to clear our minds and focus our awareness on ourselves.
As Thich Nhat Hahn said, “the breath is the bridge which connects life to consciousness.” These breathing techniques are aimed to help really focus on the present moment and calm the central nervous system, and naturally put your mind into a meditative state. Once we are in this meditative state, Morgan will guide us with her voice to journey into our heart chakra, realize our deepest wishes, and then set them free to the universe with the hope of manifesting in our reality. I invite you to have any items that help heighten the feeling of connectedness to Inner Self near you during the practice. You can be seated on a chair or couch, seated on the floor (maybe with a pillow or cushion to support your hips), or lying down. During the pranayama practice, it is important to not be lying down, however…
Suggested items to be around you to create a scared space:
pillow, blanket, cushion, yoga mat (for comfort)
noise-cancelling headphones or earbuds (to limit distractions)
lit candle
burning incense, palo santo, sage, lemongrass, etc.
crystals: rose quartz, citrine, obsidian, carnelian, jade, amazonite, etc. (You can also choose any crystal that you are feeling connected to in the moment.)
