This is the perfect beginner class to understand how to can salsa. Tomato products are the most popular canned item in the United States and for good reason! Students in this class will learn the necessary steps to prepare and preserve a pint of jalapeño salsa. Each student will go home with a pint of homemade salsa.

Anna Cash is the owner of Smart Home Canning, a business specializing in producing artisan jams and jellies and educating the public. You can often find Anna foraging around the Wasatch front for the best in local fruits. She is also a master food preserver who is on a mission to make canning and preserving easier for millennials by offering tips and tricks on Instagram @smarthomecanning.
