Do you have dreams of baking (and eating!) the perfect loaf of bread with deep flavor, open crumb, and a serious crust? All it takes is four simple ingredients: flour, water, salt, and time. Spend your evening learning the basics of baking levain (aka sourdough) with Forest Butter’s Brad Allenick. In this introductory session you’ll go home with the recipe and skills to bake your own loaf of levain. Levain is a wholesome bread leavened with wild yeast. It is a fermented food, so is easier to digest than commercial bread, and tastes great too.
