In this class, students will learn how to create a landscape using multi-color pencils in a similar style to Van Gogh. You will learn how to draw a landscape, understand the importance of mark-making, contour lines, and how to use a color scheme to create a bright and colorful landscape to take home to brighten up your space. This art activity is great for any skill level.
Janell is a local Middle School art teacher in Murray, Utah. Her art is centered around National Parks, landscapes, and florals. Her main media are watercolor, pen, relief printing, and colored pencils. Having many art styles, she can experiment with mixed media and aesthetics. Janell loves immersing herself in nature, which is her main art muse. Her goal is to make art accessible for everyone and for those people to have a little piece of nature in their homes.
