As part of the Maker’s Meet-Up series, we are excited to offer this class for artists, makers, and small business owners. Technology is so baked into everyday life that after an excellent product, comes a simple and personable digital experience. This digital experience doesn't start with the customer, it starts with those responsible for creating and implementing the customer experience. Using the right tools can save time and create more compelling user experiences! Websites can do an overwhelming amount of helpful things, but what should they do? This class will discuss the basics of building a website and discuss the different platforms such as Shopify, Square, etc, and help you decide what is the best platform to use for your business. Bring a notepad.

Tyler is a designer and artist with a background in video, website design, and photography. As a student at Champlain College in Burlington, VT he studied a mixed curriculum that included interaction design, organizational problem solving, entrepreneurship, and concepts of self, community, and society.
