Join us in fresh, mountain air for a beautiful, painting-in-nature experience. Paint-what-you see with guidance from Caro Nilsson on the lawn of the Peruvian Lodge. Materials are included with your registration fee. Open to all abilities!

Caro Nilsson was a 2022 Ace Grant Recipient to create a body of work, consisting of various canvases and embroidered thread, about the air quality in the Salt Lake Valley. Caro Nilsson is a multi-media artist and muralist based in Salt Lake City. Most recently, her work has been an experiment in tactile impressionistic painting. Caro holds a B.S. in Architecture and a B.A. in Fine Art from the University of Virginia. She has spent her adult years exploring America’s wild places, and translating those feelings and findings into paintings.
