apres art: postcard from alta: acrylic painting alta mountainscapes

In this class, students will create postcards of various Alta mountainscapes. Students will learn how to sketch an initial outline with attention to perspective and dimension as well as how to utilize acrylic paint hues to create depth and draw focus.

Lucy is Vermonter who, like many before her, came to Utah for "a ski season". Now, a few months into her second year in Utah, Lucy has a vast portfolio of Alta landscapes captured from photos taken while skiing and trail running in Little Cottonwood Canyon. With a minor in studio art Lucy utilizes both watercolor and acrylic paints to depict the various mountainscapes she loves to recreate in.
