Topic: Brain Health & Nootropic Herbs

Thursday, March 19th | 6 PM | Our Lady of the Snows | Free | Sign-up Required

This women’s circle is for anyone craving a deeper understanding of their whole health—mind, body, and spirit—in a space that feels supportive, honest, and real. It’s a place to root into shared wisdom, ask your questions about health, hormones, and nutrition, and learn practical tools for nourishing yourself on every level. Together, we’ll create community, connection, and clarity around what it means to truly care for ourselves as.

Series 1:

These classes are stand-alone, so you can come to the one that feels most relevant right now or come to each.  Together, they explore what happens when we’re not just managing symptoms or pushing through, but actually supporting the systems that make us feel clear, calm, and alive.

We’re talking brain health, the nervous system and emotions, and libido. We'll examine the more clinical/physiological sides of each as well as herbal and lifestyle support to help come back to balance naturally, without force. Each class blends science, herbs and lifestyle, and simple ritual, so things make sense and feel doable and actionable, not overwhelming.

March Class 1: Brain Health and Nootropic Herbs

If your brain feels foggy, fried, scattered or permanently tired. This class will focus on the roots of why that may be and how to support these symptoms.

We’ll break down the science of focus, motivation, neurotransmitters, and burnout, talk honestly about nootropics, adaptogens, and lifestyle habits (what helps, what’s hype, what quietly wrecks your nervous system), and how to support yourself gently.

April Class 2: Nervous System and Emotions

If you feel overwhelmed, emotionally reactive, shut down, or constantly tired from holding it all together, we will explore the roots of nervous system dysregulation and imbalance.

This class gently explores how the nervous system shapes our emotions, stress response, sleep, digestion, and hormones. We will talk about why so many of us live in a state of quiet survival without realizing it and how that impacts the way we feel day to day. You will learn about supportive herbs and simple lifestyle practices that help the body settle and find its way back toward balance. We will also look at how women historically regulated emotions through community and shared rhythms and what has been lost along the way.

May Class 3: Libido, Aphrodisiacs, and Vital Force

If your libido or spark for life has felt distant, inconsistent, or confusing, we'll dive into systemic imbalances that may be at the rooe.

In this class, we approach libido as a reflection of energy, safety, and vitality rather than something that should be forced or fixed. We will explore the physiology behind desire and how hormones, blood flow, stress, and the nervous system all play a role. We'll talk about aphrodisiac herbs in a grounded and realistic way and who they are actually helpful for, as well as how stress and 'pushing through' all the 'to-do's' contribute.

Lara studied nutrition and herbal medicine in Boulder, Colorado, driven by a deep belief in the power of women reclaiming their health and their history. Her Work is about more than wellness—it’s about community, connection, and remembering who we are beneath the noise. Through the lens of women’s history, she guides women back to their bodies with practical tools, herbal wisdom, and nourishment, so we can rise together, strong, clear, and rooted in our worth.
